2009 it seems is a year of anniversaries; 50 years of Motown and Island record labels, 30 years of 2-Tone, The Specials, Madness and Secret Affair - and 20 years of THE RIFFS! We celebrated the fact with a gig at Esquires in Bedford in September, a town that saw a number of early Riffs gigs. Thanks to everyone that turned out to help us celebrate in including former singer Aidan, our old mate Watford Jon as well as all the fans! Hopefully we should have some photos on this website soon, or check those out on our FACEBOOK site. After a couple of other landmark events in 2009, The Riffs are on a well-deserved holiday until 2010, around summer time at a guess...
